Several members of Nulankeyutomonen Nkihtahkomikumon were present, and spoke about the lawsuit. | ||||||||||||
Supporters were present from surrounding communities, including Perry, Robbinston, Eastport, Lubec, and Campobello Island. Some made statements backing the courage and determination of members of Nulankeyutomonen Nkihtahkomikumon in their legal battle for fair treatment by the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Department of Interior, and for preserving their land and heritage. | ||||||||||||
